Update 12/13: We’re thrilled to share that after a successful testing phase with our Insiders, the Support Virtual Agent is now being made available to all players across the U.S. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Insiders who contributed their time and feedback, paving the way for this new feature.
Now let’s talk about what the Support Virtual Agent is all about. Essentially, it’s an AI-driven tool created to help Xbox gamers efficiently troubleshoot and solve their support-related issues. Starting today, select Xbox Insiders can access this tool on support.xbox.com. It pulls information directly from the Xbox support site to address questions associated with Xbox consoles and games. If you’re an Xbox Insider based in the United States and have your language set to English, you can dive into this feature by signing in with your registered Xbox Insider account.
Your feedback is incredibly important to us in fine-tuning this experience. As you interact with the Support Virtual Agent, you can express your responses by clicking the “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” icons on each reply, or choose the “Give feedback” button at the page’s bottom if you have more detailed insights to share.
How to Use Support Virtual Agent
Starting now, Xbox Insiders will find the Support Virtual Agent nestled in the “Contact us” section on support.xbox.com. Just log in with your Xbox Insider credentials, and you’ll spot an option to engage the Support Virtual Agent with any question you might have.
Click on “Ask a question,” and you’ll see a new window pop up with the Support Virtual Agent ready to assist. You can communicate with the agent via text or voice commands. It’s designed to fetch relevant help from support.xbox.com. If the Virtual Agent can’t resolve an issue, don’t worry—you’re still able to contact a live support agent during the usual Xbox Support hours.
Inside this preview, you can also tailor your support experience by selecting between two different Support Virtual Agents through the menu icon.
How to Get Xbox Insider Support and Share Your Feedback
For Xbox Insiders seeking assistance, we recommend joining our community on the Xbox Insider subreddit. You’ll find official Xbox staff, moderators, and fellow Insiders who are ready to help. It’s always best to add to existing threads on the same topic before starting a new one to streamline communication and support. To provide direct feedback to Team Xbox, just head to the “Report a problem online” section for instructions.
If you’re not yet part of the Xbox Insider Program but want to play a part in shaping Xbox’s future and get early access to exciting features, consider joining by downloading the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Windows PC.
