Playground Games is shaking things up by bringing Forza Horizon 5 to the PlayStation 5, a treat for fans eager for a fresh way to experience this beloved racing game. If you’ve already collected all the achievements on Xbox, you’ll soon have the opportunity to tackle the PlayStation trophies on the PS5. While the exact release date remains under wraps, you can gear up for its arrival sometime in the spring.
Announced officially by Playground Games, Forza Horizon 5 will soon join the ranks of Xbox exclusives making their way to the PlayStation ecosystem. This exciting PS5 version is being crafted by the talented team at Panic Button, working closely with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games. The game is set to rev up on the PS5 in spring 2025.
“The Horizon Festival is thrilled to welcome a brand-new community of players,” Playground Games shared in a recent blog post. “With nearly 900 cars ready to hit the roads, over 40 game updates bursting with themes, two massive expansions, and a ton more content, we’re excited to invite PlayStation 5 players to discover the stunning landscapes of Mexico. Get ready to dive into Horizon Festival for the first time as we officially launch Forza Horizon 5 on PS5.”
The development team has ensured that PS5 players will enjoy the same rich content that’s been captivating Xbox users. This includes the Xbox game’s full version, plus expansions like Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure, which will be up for grabs along with previously released car packs.
In addition to this, Playground Games is cooking up something special with a “new free content update” known as Horizon Realms, slated for release across all platforms. This update is set to offer players the joy of exploring a carefully curated selection of fan-favorite Evolving Worlds landscapes, along with some surprise additions.
