The Quest Games Optimizer, a popular paid software for Quest users aiming to enhance their gaming experience, recently celebrated a milestone by surpassing 100,000 users.
Launched back in 2022, this tool allows Quest users to improve game performance while enjoying their favorite titles. Whether you’re using the original 2019 Quest or the latest Quest 3S, the software runs quietly in the background, boosting resolution, performance, frame rate, and even extending battery life.
Recently, the creator known as ‘Anagan79’ shared the exciting news of achieving over 100,000 users. If each user paid full price, the app, which is priced at $10 and boasts a lifetime license, would have generated over $1 million in revenue.
While the optimizer isn’t compatible with every game out there, the team behind it compiled a handy list of supported titles. This list includes around 1,000 apps that have been tested and verified to work seamlessly with the Quest Games Optimizer.
The magic happens through its ability to adjust the hardware system settings specific to each game you have on your headset. Users can choose preset or custom profiles to modify settings like render resolution, refresh rates, CPU and GPU levels, and fixed foveated rendering.
Differing from most Quest apps, which are typically available on either the official Horizon Store or the SideQuest platform, the Quest Games Optimizer is available exclusively on its website and distributed through itch.io. However, installing it remains simple with SideQuest’s Advanced Installer, which facilitates the installation of apk files via a connection to a PC.
