DodgeCraft is putting your reflexes to the test with its latest release, now available on both Quest and PlayStation VR2.
This is the second creation from INCISIV Ltd, a studio based in Belfast, which previously brought us CleanSheet Soccer. DodgeCraft markets itself as a blend of “fast action with the art of deception,” aiming to enhance your agility through its gameplay. The game’s modes are designed to challenge your dodging and tackling capabilities, and you can catch a glimpse of it in action below.
The game introduces two dynamic modes. ‘Dodge’Em’ is set to get you moving, offering a full-body workout as you dodge and weave through an asteroid belt, avoiding a barrage of meteorites. On the other hand, ‘Run the Gauntlet’ throws waves of bots and humanoids at you, each using clever tricks to bypass your defenses. Plus, the game features mixed reality support for an even more immersive experience.
In a press release, Professor Cathy Craig, the CEO of INCISIV Ltd, revealed that her own sports experiences served as a muse for DodgeCraft. Reflecting on her days playing as an out-half for Ulster Rugby, she shared how challenging it was to fully commit to tackles.
“As a player, I often hesitated, shying away from making the decisive move. DodgeCraft provides an exciting opportunity to practice anticipation and quick decision-making as a defender without the risk of physical injury. It’s training without the pain!” she explained.
DodgeCraft is currently available for Meta Quest users and PlayStation VR2 players.
