At this year’s SXSW, gaming mastermind Hideo Kojima hit the stage with some special guests to share exciting updates about Kojima Productions’ highly anticipated title, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. One of the biggest reveals was the game’s official release date, set for June 26, 2025. Attendees got the first glimpse of a pre-order trailer, personally directed by Kojima, to celebrate this announcement. The pre-orders go live on March 17, and you can check out the trailer below.

In addition, Kojima Productions announced a special concert tour named the "Stranding Harmony" Concert Series. This global tour, showcasing a full orchestra playing music from the Death Stranding series, kicks off on November 8, 2025.
