Almost a year after its initial release, Asgard’s Wrath 2 continues to explore Loki’s lingering influence through its final new Cosmic Event. Since debuting last December, Sanzaru Games has been consistently updating the VR action RPG with a series of Cosmic Events, each offering unique challenges through Cosmic Objectives. Players have faced everything from vampiric plagues and multiverse adventures to battling Surtur’s armies. Now, in this concluding event titled “The Trickster’s Legacy,” you’re once again pitted against Loki himself.
In this storyline, you are assigned the task of repairing distorted realities. Your objectives include navigating through the ‘?’ doors scattered across Uncharted Rifts, surviving various trap rooms, completing five divine trials in a single go within an Uncharted Rift, and tidying up Loki Anomalies throughout the overworld. Successfully completing these tasks rewards you with the Staff of the Trickster, replicas of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s horned helmet, along with various emotes, badges, and titles.
Though this marks the final introduction of a new event, it’s not the last you’ll see of the Cosmic Events. Sanzaru Games has announced plans to bring back each event from the start with “Into the Multiverse,” giving players a chance to earn the limited-time rewards they may have missed.
In addition, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is rolling out a new, time-unlimited outfit for Meta Quest+ subscribers. This exclusive addition includes a dinosaur-themed armor set from the island of Laramidia, complete with a matching stone blade weapon.
You can explore Asgard’s Wrath 2 now on the Meta Quest platform.
