Last week, RuneScape: Dragonwilds captured the attention of gamers, ranking as the second top-grossing game on Steam. This title hit the market on April 15th, and it has already drawn in a peak of 52,641 concurrent players, as per SteamDB numbers. It’s a notable new release from Jagex that’s clearly making waves.
Unsurprisingly, Counter-Strike 2 held onto its crown as Steam’s highest-grossing game for another week. Meanwhile, RuneScape: Dragonwilds’ entrance bumped Schedule 1 into third place. As usual, Steam Deck maintained its steady position in fourth.
Last Epoch, an action RPG, made a strong comeback to the Top Ten, climbing an impressive 76 spots to land in fifth. This resurgence comes on the back of the release of its second season of content. The co-op horror adventure REPO held firm in sixth place.
Marvel Rivals slipped down four spots to seventh, while Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian climbed a notch, benefiting from a continued discount enticing more players on Steam.
Despite some technical hiccups during its launch, Tempest Rising, the spiritual successor to Command and Conquer, debuted in tenth position.
Here’s how the Steam Top Ten shaped up for the week ending April 22nd:
1. Counter-Strike 2, Valve
2. RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Jagex
3. Schedule 1, TVGS
4. Steam Deck, Valve
5. Last Epoch, Eleventh Hour
6. REPO
