It’s official: Dead by Daylight Mobile is set to close its doors on March 20, 2025. Fans still have a few months to enjoy the action on their handheld devices before the game disappears for good. Starting January 16, 2025, you won’t find Dead by Daylight Mobile on the Google Play Store or the App Store anymore, so if you’re thinking of giving it a go, the clock is ticking. But don’t worry too much; the game will remain available on consoles and PC.
Dead by Daylight, which originally debuted on PC back in June 2016, quickly won players over and expanded to various platforms over its successful run. When it made its mobile debut in April 2020, the title was an instant hit, hitting the million-download mark in just its first two days.
After nearly five years of thrilling chases and strategic plays with a roster that includes many memorable killers and survivors, the mobile chapter will close. For mobile players who are eager to carry on their escapades, Behaviour Interactive, the game’s developer, is offering a sweet deal. Transition to the game on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, or Nintendo Switch, and you can scoop up a package of goodies loaded with rewards.
For those switching platforms, the welcome gift features 500,000 Bloodpoints and 2,250 Iridescent Shards, right off the bat. Plus, based on your in-game spending history, you could pocket additional Iridescent Shards and Auric Cells, maxing out at 5,000 Auric Cells and 108,000 Iridescent Shards if you’ve spent $200 or more. You can also earn up to two million extra Bloodpoints depending on your accumulated experience. To claim these rewards, all you need is to log into both your mobile game and Behaviour Interactive account, select your preferred platform, and do it all before March 20, 2025. If you’re already doubling as a mobile and console or PC player, don’t fret—you can still snag the welcome package.
For anyone unfamiliar with the game, Dead by Daylight is a chilling multiplayer horror experience where one player takes on the role of a deadly Killer, while four others try to survive and escape. As a Survivor, your goal is to fix generators without falling into the Killer’s clutches. Whether you band together with fellow Survivors or go it alone, every game tests your wits. Meanwhile, playing as the Killer offers a variety of chilling characters, each equipped with unique abilities to hunt and capture Survivors. You can never predict how players will react under pressure, which adds a layer of unpredictability and excitement to the game—something that continues to enthrall players if they dare to venture into The Fog.
