Let’s dive into the heart of this update, starting with some sleek new rides. Gear up for five fantastic additions to your garage.
First up, there’s the Ford Escort RS Cosworth ’92, available from the Used Cars section. This legendary car stands out with its unique twin-spoiler design, designed originally for rally racing in the 90s. It’s powered by a robust 2L turbocharged engine built by Cosworth, boasting 223.9 horsepower on its standard setup. Known as “Cossie”, this rally beast has conquered several championships, proving its worth on racing tracks around the world.
Next is a piece of history, the Mercedes-Benz W 196 R ’55. You can snag this one from Legend Cars. This legendary Formula 1 car is steeped in motorsport heritage. With its sleek design and an inline-8 engine pushing 285 horsepower, it dominated the 1954 and 1955 F1 World Championships, driven by the iconic Juan Manuel Fangio.
From Brand Central, we’re also welcoming the Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) ’20. This eighth-generation icon combines the classic design cues from its predecessors with modern upgrades. It’s all about power and speed with this one, packing a 3,745 cc twin-turbo engine that outputs 641 horsepower. It’s a dream for Porsche lovers and speed enthusiasts alike.
Celebrating Porsche’s 75th anniversary, there’s the Porsche Mission X ’23. This show-stopping concept car presents a futuristic vision of hypercars with a fully electric drivetrain. It’s designed to possibly be the fastest road-legal car around the Nürburgring, bringing cutting-edge tech and unrivaled performance.
And for a rugged option, consider the Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC ’18 from Brand Central. It’s compact but fierce, perfect for off-road adventures with its robust four-wheel-drive system and a torquey 1,460 cc engine. This Jimny balances modern style with classic off-road prowess.
In addition to the cars, the game’s Café/Extra Menus section gets a new entry: the Ferrari Speciale, available for collectors at Level 48 and above. Plus, a new wheel brand, Rotiform, is now available in GT Auto.
World Circuits is getting fresh events, too – dive into the Jimny Cup at Grand Valley South, the Porsche Cup at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and the Race of Turbo Sportscars at Mount Panorama Circuit. And do check out the new Colorado feature in the Scapes section.
And here comes a treat for competitive spirits – the Gran Turismo World Series Celebration Race kicks off on November 21. It’s in honor of the upcoming World Finals in Amsterdam this December, where the planet’s best drivers compete. In-game, you can tackle the Manufacturers Cup and the Nations Cup for a chance to earn up to 1,000,000 Cr.
Finally, put your skills to the test against Gran Turismo Sophy, the advanced AI racer, now ready to challenge you at the Trial Mountain Circuit and Tokyo Expressway – East Clockwise. Keep an eye out for the Sophy icon in the Quick Race menu to join the competition.
