Nintendo recently shared that they’ve reached a significant milestone with the sale of over 146.04 million Nintendo Switch consoles around the globe.
Between April and the end of September 2024, the company sold 4.72 million units. This number marks a 31% drop compared to the same period last year. However, Nintendo pointed out that these sales figures are still quite impressive when stacked up against their previous platforms that have made it into their eighth year on the market.
When it comes to games, the Nintendo Switch has hit a new high, with over 1.3 billion copies sold. This achievement sets a new record for Nintendo, with more games played on the Switch than any other Nintendo system to date.
