Combat Waffle, the team behind Ghosts of Tabor, is on the verge of launching Silent North, a fresh VR shooter that’s set to provide loads of multiplayer zombie survival excitement. Gamers can look forward to early access on Quest and Steam, slated for sometime in March.
Silent North, published by Beyond Frames Entertainment, catapults you to the heights of the Swiss Alps. In this treacherous world, you’ll not only face hordes of zombies but also human foes who are just as eager to kill and loot as you are.
Players have the choice to band together or brave the dangers alone as they scavenge for gear to fend off an inexhaustible supply of ravenous undead, according to the game studio.
“Chock-full of PVPVE action, players won’t be able to avoid clashes with other survivors or the infected,” says the game’s description. “Whether you’re navigating the mountains or the plains, get ready for heart-pounding gunfights to stay alive or hunt down your adversaries to survive in the wild. But watch your step—other players might be lurking, ready to ambush.”
Pre-orders for Silent North are now up on the Horizon Store for $17, offering a 15% discount from the regular $20 launch price. It’s also available on Steam’s wishlist with a similar launch discount.
While the game is set to arrive in early access in March on Steam and the Horizon Store, details on when it will debut on other VR platforms, such as PSVR 2 and Pico headsets, remain under wraps.
As of February 21st, 2024, the developers have confirmed a March release but haven’t pinned down an exact date just yet.
