We’re thrilled to share that our goal is to make gaming more accessible to people everywhere, regardless of their preferred devices. Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is already a hit among millions of Game Pass Ultimate members who are enjoying a vast array of games from the Game Pass catalog on numerous devices.
In an exciting development, we’re partnering with LG Electronics to launch the Xbox app on their new Smart TVs later this year. This move will allow Game Pass Ultimate members to dive right into their games using the Xbox app on supported LG Smart TVs, all thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming. It’s all about giving players more options for how they experience their beloved games.
Pretty soon, LG Smart TV users will have direct access to a treasure trove of games from the Game Pass Ultimate catalog via the Gaming Portal. You’ll find blockbuster titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and highly anticipated releases like Avowed, which is set to launch on February 18, 2025.
Stream Your Own Game
We’ve also got some cool news to share for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members: you’ll soon be able to stream select games you already own, even if they’re not part of the Game Pass catalog. This feature will be available through the Xbox app on LG Smart TVs, letting you stream over 50 of your owned games, including fan favorites like NBA 2K25 and Hogwarts Legacy, among others.
We’re eager to share more updates on how Xbox Cloud Gaming will enhance the experience on LG TVs over the upcoming months. For those curious about how to enjoy Xbox Cloud Gaming across different devices such as smart TVs, PCs, tablets, and smartphones, head over to xbox.com/cloudgaming for all the details.
